Governor Steve Beshear signed into law the Kentucky Uniform Condominium Act on April 8, 2010. The law goes into effect January 2011 and all condominiums and other master deed communities will need to comply with the provisions of the Act. The Kentucky Legislative Action Committee and the Kentucky Chapter Community Associations Institute (KY-CAI) is holding informational seminars on the new Act in Lexington (11/11) and Covington (11/18). Experts in the industry will explain what the passage of this legislation means to community members and what action will be required in order to be in compliance.
